The AI threat is real. The gap in protection is wider than ever.
AI is being used to target ordinary people every day through deepfake scams, AI-generated romance fraud, synthetic voice impersonation and personalised phishing. Those most at risk, including older adults, young people leaving school and people facing financial insecurity, often have the least protection and the fewest resources to fight back.
